Venus and Jupiter Waltz Across The Night Sky

A Walk Among The Stars

Throughout the month of June, Venus and Jupiter could be seen slowly moving closer to each other with peak convergence on the 30th of June when they were 1/3 of a degree from each other. I watched the two planets dosey doe with each other throughout the month but alas when it came time for the finale the skies were cloudy. I hope you had better luck!

About The Illustration

The sneakers are a linocut print onto archival paper and the background is watercolor with colored pencil highlights. The image of the sneakers came from a picture I took of my own sneakers which I traced onto the linoleum pad. This image is available via Redbubble.
